Yes, finally! It took me enough chapters to get here, didn't it? :D But there are a few chapters left to wrap things up. No idea when I'll get to it, since I'm heading for California on Tuesday... :D

Yay, finally! And he's not alone anymore. And MJ is, as always, great. Your Peter/Gwen kind of reminds me of Ultimate Spidey Peter/MJ.

:D I think Peter does better when he has someone supporting him. :)

And yes! The Peter/Gwen here is intentionally like USM!Peter/MJ, down to a nod to the way Peter told her. Good catch. :) I would honestly not be surprised if Weisman goes that way, since he's borrowed from USM before.

It was certainly nice to see that Peter got home all right thanks to Captain Stacy. The thing that surprised me the most about this chapter was him revealing that he's Spider-Man not only to Captain Stacy but to Gwen as well. Wow!! Did not see that coming. I was figuring that the good police Captain would find out definitively but not Gwen. Now that Gwen knows, it will make things a bit easier relationship-wise between her and Peter.

I did find it funny when Peter was demonstrating his powers to the Stacys when Aunt May came in and Pete quickly got off the ceiling as if nothing happened. This does make me wonder if May will find out.

The end was great. Peter and Gwen kissed to show how much they mean to each other and then he gets some unexpected visitors. The reactions from Liz, Flash and MJ were great. Loved MJ's line at the end, perfect.

Aha! Good, I'm glad I surprised you! The deal was always to have Stacy find out for sure... and as I went farther and farther into the fic, the more I realized that Gwen should know, too. Peter will have more trust in Captain Stacy's eyes this way, I think.

You know I can't just have a simple kiss, lol. Caught in the act is fun, and saves all the later explaining to other characters. ♥

Oh, and my mind came up with some really dirty lines after I read this: "He suddenly realized that Gwen’s hand was moving back and forth over the place he normally kept his web shooters." Sorry...I can't help it. :-)

I ♥ Captain Stacy SOOO much. I've been wanting to write a Stacy and Peter teamup story since Spider-Man 3 came out, and I never had the plot bunny! So I'm seriously glad you prompted me on this one.

LOL, the shooters are on his WRIST, darling. Though you could definitely look a bit more "metaphorically" at them... :DDD
