I have to say that I was rooting for HD-DVD. I'm not invested in either format though, so I don't really care. BR is generally a pretty nice format, and there's really no DRM that will ever work so I don't care about that. The only disadvantage of BR is that some of them won't play DVDs, I think.

I think Walmart choosing BluRay was the final nail in the coffin. But yeah, this won't affect me too much until they stop making DVDs or BluRay discs drop to near-DVD prices.
