I used to watch Star Trek (the version with the guy from Reading Rainbow) with my dad when I was little. A couple episodes I can barely remember is the extent of my Star Trek knowledge. But I am excited for the movie. I like JJ Abrams except when I hate him, and the trailer is awesome. Shit blows up and there is kissing! It will be my first summer movie, yay.

Yes, the Reading Rainbow guy was one of best parts of the show :D I loved the episode of Reading Rainbow when he went backstage to the Star Trek set.

I am SOOOOOOOOOOOO excited. I am a huge Star Wars fan and I don't even care about the whole canon reboot thing, it just looks so very awesome.

Yaaaaaay! I don't know enough canon from the original series to care about the changes, I am just intrigued by how much the actor playing Spock resembles Leonard Nimoy.

I'M SO PUMPED. My childhood existence revolved around The Next Generation and Deep Space 9, mostly because my dad is an uber geek and it's probably genetic.

The samples look fantastic, and everyone is oh-so pretty; unfortunately, next week is AP week, so I probably won't get to watch it until June.

Why thanks! It is Risa and Otani from "Lovely Complex" and it is my "too happy for words" icon :D The scene it is from is pretty psychedelic itself (they are taking a rickshaw ride in Hokkaido).
