Yesterday was fun!

Spent all day at a Classified Personnel conference that my District holds every year. There were a *lot* of folks that I had never met there - some that I knew from phone and e-mail contact but many that I had never interacted with. She's open till 8? Oh, I may be able to make a night there and do some lucet work of my own with you. Or fingerweaving or something fiber related. It's been a long while, and I need some period laces.

And I know what you mean about walking into a group of strangers... I am alone so often, that it isn't as comfy a thing to do as I once used to do. Thankfully, I will know you, and I know Meg, and that's a good start.

Yes, but only on Tuesdays. It seemed like there was a regular group that just shows up to knit and stays until Meg shoos them out. There was also a class going on at the second table. It was very relaxing - except the 'meeting new folks' part...*chuckle*

I wouldn't think so, but what do I know? ;-)

I seem to have 'that kind of face,' too. For me, it seems any business I go into, people will, for some strange reason, assume I work there, even if it's not logical. I some times think I were to stand around in a Victoria's Secret, people would think I worked there...
