Challenge #1: Film Interpretation

Jan 14, 2009 04:26

Elizabeth Swann is fierce and courageous. She never avoids confrontation, and therefore it seems highly improbable that she wouldn't at least try to talk to Jack during their stay in the Locker. She sailed to the ends of the Earth to get him back -- surely, she didn't risk life and limb just to see him again; she must have had something to tell him.

We ask you to draw inspiration from the provided clips and present your side of the story. What really happened in the Locker? Why did Jack sympathize with her? He may be a good man, but would he put himself on the line if he truly believed she didn't regret what she had done to him?

Give us a sense of closure. Rewrite the scenes. Uncover the truth behind the AWE J/E.

The deadline: January 28, 2009
