No worries. :) I have a Facebook account but I don't use it. I didn't like the crossing of my work, fandom, family, and school friends streams. Although there's overlap in those groups, I didn't like having everyone in everything. (Do my high school friends really need to know that I watch Mad Men? Do I really need to know that my half-sister likes to play a farming FB game?) Most people have no problem living like that but I'm weird.

I have given up most social media because it's just too much of a time drain. I don't seem able to moderate: I do nothing or I live my life on it. The latter was no longer an option for me so the former it is. LJ is so low-key these days that it's a sweet-spot for me.
