So I sit here reading LJ posts (which is a pretty common occurance these days) and I think that my life seems pretty boring comparatively. But I still feel like I should post, so people know I am alive

Thank you so much for this update! I am thrilled to know this stuff, especially about your class preparations and your summer plans. Both you and Brian are totally lucky. I'd love to hear more specifics about both projects. Eat the candies in these cool and unusual places and send some back to me. Thanks to my job at the candy store I'm learning lots about british and european chocolates and you guys need to explore those possibilities. I know you guys will be sad, but chocolate has lots of good happy brian chemicals.
Is the end of the semester much crazier for you than the beginning? Mine certainly is going that way and I like the busy-ness honestly.
Hello! I miss you but am glad things are new and interesting for you. I'm sure your life isn't less exciting than mine, just less expensive. I'm going to have to dig around and see if I can find your address so I can send you stuff.
You can put any baby in a cage and ignore it most of the day, that's what is so cool about babies.
Both of your summer plans sound awesome. I mean, you know, if you are into visiting exciting new places.
Last and least, you don't have to roll all the money yourself at a lot of banks. All banks have an automatic counter for coins, but every once in a while a bank will only let merchants use them. I really hate it when banks make me roll coins when I can see the automatic counter just sitting and gathering dust.
Wow, both of you have amazing summers. You should let me know what dates you will be gone. I want to come visit you in the spring, but it will probably have to be in late spring. And I want to make sure you are still there.
Oh and I forgot, if you really don't want to roll coins there are usually machines in grocery stores in which you can dump your change into and it will count it and give you the amount of money you had in dollars instead of coins. Usually this is done in the form of a ticket that you then take over to the cashier who gives you the money. Some places make you use the tickets on groceries, but most places usually will just give you the cash without a hassle.
