Hello?  Is this thing on?

*white noise*

Yes, well.  As I have no physical form by which to access this contraption, I am unlikely to reply to your message in kind.

Should you need me, I suggest you bring the mountain to Mohammed.

Thank you.

Hee. Thank you. The community requires all muses to put a voice mail post in their journals for contact purposes. Seriously now -- how is a ghost going to access voice mail?

Love your icon, BTW. :)

I have to agree with you... though I could imagine Bob running up long distance bills in the thousands of dollars to XXX numbers.

"Harry... I was lonely....."

I do indeed! Those are quite nice! Thank you for pointing them out to me. I'm always looking for nice Bob icons, both for this LJ (for RP) and my own LJ (for fics). What a pity I can't read Russian, otherwise I'd join dresdenfiles_ru.

Love the post. It fits him so brilliantly. Also love the way that you're playing Bob. What a great character.

Thank you very much! He's a snarky old spook but, deep down inside, he's quite sensitive and tragic. Qualities I simply can't resist.

Bob and Regulus will have to bump into each other at some point. He's not met any other wizards in H&M yet (apart from Harry, of course).

Neither can I. Bob is a fantastic character; it was a surprise to find out how different he is from Bob the Skull in the books. (Who's also a great character. Just different from Hrothbert-Bob.)

Bob and Regulus will have to bump into each other at some point.

Oh, that would be great. Especially Reg is developing an interest in history (thanks, in large part, to Jim Mack), and I doubt very much if he'd have any trouble accepting another dead wizard as a person.

While I do enjoy book!Bob, I find that I simply cannot resist Hrothbert-Bob. Much of the credit for that, I think, goes to the wonderful Terrence Mann and his chemistry with Paul. (I'm not only RPing tv!Bob but I've also been insane enough to sign up to do 50 Bob-fics for fanfic50. *eep* )

We'll definitely have to get them together, then. :)

Delivered on Christmas day, a wizard chess set of carved and stained wood (handmade obviously) that Ron had charmed himself and a note.

'Merry Christmas, Ron.'

Delighted, Bob carefully lifted the board from its box and set it upon the table. Next came the pieces, exactingly carved (and enchanted) with great skill and personality -- which Bob quickly discovered when both White Queen and Black treated him with haughty disdain until he choose between them.

"Touche', my dear Ronald," laughed Bob after appeasing both queens with courtly bows and flattering praise.

She'd taken Harry's suggestion to heart getting Bob things rich in taste, smell or texture and waiting on the door mat would be a series of boxes:

A box of hand made japanese rice flour sweets, a box of truffles, bag of rich aromatic coffee and a tin of bath salts.

In truth, Bob was a little surprised (but no less pleased) to discover a gift from Lilah (considering that he thought he might have overstepped his bounds in some way at the wedding reception).

He wasted no time in sampling a delicacy from each candy box while brewing a pot of the delightful coffee. The bath salts he would indulge in a bit later ... perhaps after savoring a few more sweets.

"Fitting candidates for our book, Miss Morgan," he said with a happy smile, and resolved to tell her at the next opportunity.
