This past weekend, I had the pleasure of viewing this exhibition: Ansel Adams: A Legacy at the Ransom Center on the UT campus. To say I was overwhelmed is an understatement. No poster, no calendar, no print, however finely produced can rival Adams own printmaking ability, even when those items are created from his prints. Unusually, I also ( Read more... )

I'm a little scared to be perfectly honest. The thing is that I will have to examine what it is about certain things I find value in, and I suspect in that examination, I will come to the conclusion that something I once thought was a vital part of me (from a metaphysical-philosophy perspective of course) will be removed. But that's just a gut-feeling I have.
