This is GREAT! I don't watch Doctor Who (I know, blasphemy), but even without having seen the show I think these are just wonderfully intriguing characters. Jenny and Madame Vastra make a great investigative team - more like Nero Wolfe and Archie Goodwin than Holmes and Watson (in that they share the work of detection much more equally). Love the newspaper intro, too. I can't wait for the next chapter.
