I would completely read this and love it! And I have a number of WsIP that I'm inordinately fond of. Some have been sitting around so long that the show in question has come, had five seasons, and been cancelled. ::coughSGAcough::
::sigh:: Even better, the fic I'm thinking of is not only SGA season 1 but a crossover with new Doctor Who season 1! So, I'm behind a Stargate show and a Doctor.

Okay, you win on both timing and on canon, since the New Doctor has given you a lot to integrate.
But Nine's enthusiasm for life + the network of folks of Atlantis ... tha's gold right there, it is. Would you mind sharing, if it's truly abandoned? there's a WIP - amnesty community, but I don't think they are active.
and the sucky part is that mine's completely unfinishable, but what i've got still makes me grin, so i can't just toss it and it's specific enough that I can't cannabalize it.
(funny, mine's a crossover, too. Gotta love the crossovers. At least nothing in the fourth Indiana Jones movie jossed me as badly as Deathly Hallows did.)
