I found the painting! It's "Double Identity," by Amanda Visell (she seems to not have a site of her own, more's the pity), and it ran as part of a show at the M Modern Art Gallery in Las Vegas last year. There's something about the whole thing that just appeals to me. It looks very warm and friendly.

It's interesting to see which ones have sold and which haven't. I'm not sure I'd want a Batgirl fart joke on my wall.

I feel bad for the two artists who submitted the fight sound effect. OK, bad enough that they picked the same general idea, but how awful is it that they both picked "KA-POW!"?
