Right now I am spread out on a random couch at the UTC taking advantage of the WiFi spots since my internet subscription has run out. I just got back from Whole Foods, where Lily got a massage and I got juice boxes, portabello spring rolls (and peanut sauce!) and trail mix. I came back, and noticed all the cars parked with flashing lights and kids

maybe you should make a point to talk about it in everyday conversations. that would make life interesting.

you'd be all: "hey."
then they'd be all: "yo."
you: "so do you think there is only one soul mate for every person?"
them: "no, i'm rather existentialist in that i believe that life is all about waiting for godot with a bit of pain thrown in there too."

and there you go. you'd then know so much more about that person than the standard, "so what are your hobbies?" shit that most ppl talk about when they make small talk. voila.

and on a completely different note, what's the deal on internet access in the dorms? online it said smthg about paying for hi-speed for like $20/mo but does that mean you're not even offered anything else, like dial-up, fo free?? how does this all work?

Internet is 20 bucks a month even though I'm using wireless internet downstairs for free right now. I mean, I suppose you could plug a wireless router into a friend's wall jack, but then I'm sure ITS would track you down and kill you. There are a lot of places around campus to get on the internet..but it's just nice to have it in your room :)

i guess i have to get the internet in the room - i dont have a laptop or a wireless card. :-( no grood.

i am going on friday the 20th between 8pm and 12am, and then maybe going to get a few supplies that i dont want to have to move (office stuff, cleaning stuff, etc) and my books from the co-op the next day. and if you need any help shopping for anything, feel free to call!! even tho i cant really think of much else to get, maybe you have some ideas for awesomeness..?? after all, you ARE the cawllege grrl!
