If you want to complete this event (and again: you don't need to for your registries, this is just about getting a few DADA and red Spell books and keeping those clamouring for more events happy), you'll have to grind at least eight higher level fortresses. Snag: that won't necessarily be possible for lower level

Thanks for 'splaining it all! Well since I've only managed to unlock forest 1, not sure I'll get anywhere on this one. But potions brewing here we go!

Heads up. There was an error as to which chamber drops the wild boar, in case you're trying for them after all. It's Forest V. (Which, yeah, makes that even less likely for you.) The portkeys are good, though, if they're spawning for you. (So far I've only had one.)

Got Forest lll & V already done, just can't get anyone to play beyond dark chamber l, in order to lead to ll & V. Oy! Easily used up 12 potions too, sigh.

This is a good point. I stuck around playing a more than I needed to help other players that might have been stuck on the tasks, but I guess where they really need the help is in levelling up. I'll give it some thought next time. (On the other hand, Dark I takes more potions, so I prefer to stick in the Forest chambers. hmm...)

I managed to finish, but not a portkey in sight! Didn’t need the hourglasses anyway, but you’d think one would show up now and then.

Just now got my second portkey, but I needed at least four. 😕 Only three hours left, so I'm not holding my breath. I don't understand why they are so tight with them, especially when they advertise them for the event. But I now really regret emptying my portkey vault. pfft.

I just tend to leave five open slots as the portkeys are a great source of potions ingredients. Never want to be with out a few to walk off. It does seem ridiculous that they advertise them and don’t bother drooping them in a quantity worth talking about. Sigh.

I tend to keep the bare minimum of unlocked portkeys around, unless there was just an event where we got a bunch of 1K ones. I'm forever accidentally tapping on one if I have open slots, but I also don't like not having available slots when they do special portkeys. I guess I rarely use silver keys outside of those events, too, except for the very occasional 5K portkey.

They came through for me with a number of portkeys in the last hour of the event, which was nice, but on the other hand it makes it feel like a real waste that I kept checking the game so regularly all day before that. (Probably not what they were going for, but I bet that's a pretty typical response.)
