when there was a category continued, like most intriguing plot, where those separate from the list above? i think that format is not fair. the stories that were listed with only two options have way more votes because people essentially voted twice for that category. i only voted once per category, even if there was a "(cont.)" section.

Yeah, that was the maximum amount of entries each section would list. There was nothing else to do. Sorry.

i totally understand but i feel in those instances, the results for that category will be inaccurate. like look at angst category results and "the covenant" is winning by a lot. is this because it is truly the best or because people chose it out of the two choices in the (cont.) section?? just food for thought. :) i think giving authors recognition they deserve is awesome...thanks for doing this.

No worries, we won't look at the percentages (which are off because it's essentially a separate poll item), but rather at the number of votes.

Oooo -- sooo many good fics... these are some pretty tough votes because they are all fantastic!!!

And, I am pleased that one of my stories was nom'd. It truly, truly made my day.
