Um...this is kind of weird because it's like I'm sabotaging myself or something, but I'm Solstice Muse from ff.net and you have one of my fics nominated in your Plot catagory.

The thing is ESSM was written and completed in 2005 and I don't think it qualifies.

I really wouldn't want to do another author out of a nomination.

Thanks for the tip -- we missed that because ff.net said that the fic was updated in 2006. We can't take it out of the poll now (lj doesn't allow that), but we will take it into consideration when the results come out.

Ah, I forgot about that, I changed the Author's note. That explains it!

That's okay, I just thought I'd let you know. I've told my flist not to vote for it so it shouldn't be a problem.

Just wanted to let you all know that the link for "Letters" by fizzmonkeys (nominated for Best Angst) doesn't work.

I believe that the link is just missing an "l" on the end. Should be "html".

i would love to vote, but when i went to read the fics, a number of links went to friends only or broken links.

Oh no! Can you tell us which ones, so we can fix them? There should not be any friends-only links here, unless the authors have changed them recently. We want everyone to be able to read all the stories.

Anything by deenas_fics and anything by velvethopefics. Not sure why with the deenas_fic links, but velvethopefics is a locked journal.

Woe! I think both of those authors prefer to lock their NC-17 journal entries. Unfortunately, we can't go back and edit the poll -- lj doesn't allow that -- but some of deena_s's fics are available on SIYE and In Essence: Undivided by VelvetHope is available on CheckMated, although this is a password-protected archive.

There are a couple of other broken links in here, but the authors have commented to give us the right link. I'm really sorry about this, but hopefully you can find some stories you like enough to vote for even without the locked ones.

FYI---I have unlocked the NC17 stories that were nominated so everyone can read them via the links provided. They will, however, be locked again once voting is completed.
