Very good story, K. I can see why you're proud of it. Bravo. It made me tear up once or twice too. I would have liked to have seen Ginny approach her daughter and have a talk with her, but perhaps that's just me being character greedy. ;) Good characterizaton here of Ginny. You could really feel her pain.
Excellent story. What a horrible experience for Ginny to have gone through, and I thought you did the feelings of being cheated and being bitter about it very realistically. While Alex was a little harsh with her mother, I can also understand the frustrations behind it and why it came out the way it did. Most of all, I love how you have Harry there supporting Ginny all of the way, even 25 years later. The love they have for each other just shines through.

I would call her a typical teenager in this.

You capture the emotions brillantly and can really feel Ginny pain shining through. Alex is as you said without a doubt her mothers' daughter. It would be very easy to see Molly and Ginny in that fight. A the love that her and Harry shares is beautiful.

Would they be any other way?

True. Which provided Ginny's biggest fear in this piece. That her daughter was so much like her.
