Hello! :D

Oh, thank you so much. And don't worry, you explained yourself perfectly. I know that we won't get an ending like this in the novels, where things just kind of spiral down to Harry, and what he has to choose (rather than what he was "born" to choose, I suppose). The poor kid has gone through so much, I think he'd need time to put things together and make sense of the world where Voldemort doesn't exist, but he does. I rewrote this so many times, because I wanted to keep that kind of "odd" feel to it, where (like you said) things just ended and people went on with their lives, and Harry is just wrapped up in everything and has no idea where he wants to go.

And I'm going to stop rambling now, but I want to say how much I appreciate what you said--it means a lot that you understood what I was attempting to say and that you liked it. Again, thank you SO much.

That's haunting, true, and beautiful. I really enjoyed the way you wrote it.

i've always felt that poor harry won't know quite what to do with himself after the war is over, and i think you captured that well. i can't decide what i want to have him doing, but all i know is that ginny better be involved =)

That's exactly how I've felt, that the war would just end and he'd have nothing left to fight against and he'd have to adjust to life as, well, just Harry. I'm so pleased that you liked it! And, yes, it is a plus if Ginny is involved. :D

Wow. Atmospheric and poetic and subtle and so beautiful I fear those words don't actually do this fic justice. I love the bits in parenthesis and I adore that there's no real dialog, as if Harry's somehow lost his ability to communicate. Because of course, words - in the end - don't matter. Oh, seriously, I'm blown away. Wonderful job.

Great job with this -- it's fantastic. Someone else used the word "haunting," and that's really accurate. The fic has a slow, aimless feel that is just like Harry himself, and I love all the little details you put in, like the chrysanthemums and the magic crackling on his skin and the tube stops. Those details are a great contrast to the bigger details that aren't important, like what happened in the final battle.
