He Apparated home in the middle of the night after a long and tiring mission with the Aurors. He wanted nothing more than to crawl into his warm bed and sleep for a week.
Until he saw his lovely wife, her red hair spread across her pillow, nearly glowing in the moonlight cast through the window.
He undressed and slid quietly under the covers behind her, not wanting to disturb her, but found himself unable to keep away.
"Ginny," he whispered in her ear.
She slowly turned over, a warm smile spread across her face.
"Welcome home," she whispered back.
