Harry could think of a number of things that had been stolen from him during his short life.
His childhood. His innocence. His privacy.
His parents had been stolen, too, and three men whom he would have grown up knowing as uncles, two lost to the path that was right, the other to the path that was easy, though even he, at last, had tried to make amends.
Here, at the end, or maybe at the beginning, he realized that she had stolen the one treasure left to him to guard: his heart.
He hoped she’d never, ever return it.
