I don't know if I've got time to finish this today, which is a real shame. This is building up to a really nice situation. This lotion is so clever! I love the noble considerations holding George back, too. It just cranks up the UST. I'm really enjoying this.

Oh my goodness, only reikokatsura knows this, but the lotion was one of the first things about the story written--I'd been outlining the story and had most of Pt I written, when I realized exactly what I wanted the potion to do, and spent hours and hours researching potions ingredients and their magical properties with the theory that I wanted to make the brewing process realistic... And then I had a recipe, and needed to figure out whether the whole recipe would go into the story or whether it would just be a reference so that I could write about them talking while they brewed. And Reiko and I were at a Barnes & Nobel, and she was like, "Okay, the potion's AWESOME, but you can actually focus on writing, you know." And really got me on-track to get a lot of work on it done.

Which doesn't mean that writing it wasn't like pulling teeth. But you saw my whining about that already. *grin*

I love your Hands-in-the-Trousers!Scorpius, btw. Totally hot. That's Mitch Hewer from 'Skins'. I am a bit obsessed with him. He looks totally Scorpius, doesn't he?

I realised after I'd commented that I never said how much I enjoyed the layout of this fic - the way you used different fonts and played with the visual aspect. Alongside that, I love the postmodern technique of using fake 'documents' to tell the story.

oh, the layout! the fonts! the learning yet more html!

actually (and oddly) the different fonts were one of the things i was most proud of--i was really tickled when i checked my HP books and realized that Daily Prophet headlines are all in Impact. oh, yes.

i also remember how much i've enjoyed reading epistolary fics with different "handwritings" and "inks" for different characters (thinking specifically of Per Solum Lacune here), and wanted to do that here. but it was a load of annoying work, so i'm really glad that you appreciated it!

Let me just say George being conscientious and holding himself back is incredibly sexy. And Scorpius being Slytherin and devious and still really sweet and lovestruck? Is adorable.

Scorpius is trying to hide the fact that he's kind of hero-worshiping George.
