If tania_sings vouches, I'm okay with your journal being less than 2 months old. And she's right, your drabble can be posted there immediately (and should be, actually so you can post a link to it here) and your fest fic after the fest is done and reveals are posted here.

ah, well, my personal journal is six years old or something, but i just started the fic journal. it doesn't actually have any fic in it yet. but i've done drabble-in-comments a couple of times in a couple of fandoms, and am looking to start a longer-fic career in hp-land.
Is there a deadline? Do I need to tell you which prompts I'm using? How do I put a link in a comment? AND please can I have Draco? (Just generally, but for this challenge as well).
No deadline -- take all the time you need. But, if you love me, you'll hurry since I really want to read what you come up with XD
Just cut and paste your link into your comments. Copy the address at your lj, and then paste it into the test of your comment. I'll be posting a masterlist at some point as well.
And of course you can have Draco. In the fest, and in life as well if only it were in my power to grant!
The prompts are reusable, so tell or don't tell as you like.
Also, as a result of your delightfully dirty mind, I really had to hold back from using M -- marching band.
Draco's all yours! There's no official deadline, and you can take as much time as you like, though we'd *love* for people to be posting these during October and November so that most are up before the bulk of the fest timeline. And yep, tania_sings has it spot on about the links and the prompts. And after each person posts their link in a comment, I'm going to turn each character's name into a clickable link to the drabble or art.

also, while i'm signing up here, is it cool for me to post the drabble and a fest fic on my fic journal (created less than 2 mos ago)?

As for your question, your drabble can be posted right away, and your fest fic after it's posted here first.
If you're going to write for the fest, want to exchange beta services?

FYI: only lauryne78 can cross stuff out, but I'll also keep track of what characters are taken.

I'm going to use "smartypants" as my prompt. (Vaguely, probably,I'm not good at the whole prompt thing).
If you can't give me Draco, then Tom Felton would be fine! Naked, with a ribbon on? Early christmas present?
