A head slowly showed up at her window. Immediately followed by a second one, just as straw-haired as the first one was. Grinning happily, the twins swiftly entered their sister's room.
"What are you doing here?" she asked, bewildered. "I'm being punished. Certainly you shouldn't be here."
"You are forbidden to leave your room, true," admitted Gideon, letting himself fall on her bed.
"But we thought you might enjoy some company," continued Fabian, giving her a one-arm hug.
And then they chorused: "Plus, we bring chocolate. Spirited out of Mum's secret cupboard."
Molly laughed. She felt better already.
