As those of you who have this community friended may or may not have noticed, there have not been any new posts in a while. I have completed the original list of fics that received enough votes to be added to the hpficmasterlist. Naturally, fics are being written every day, so at this point, the masterlist has probably already become outdated. The reasonable next

I hope it's alright to leave a comment when I'm not elaborating on the poll. I just wondered how the updates to the recs will be organized. While I love rec lists that are constantly updating, it's difficult to find the new fics when the list is really massive and the maintainer integrates new fics into its organizational system.

Maybe, when new additions are put in their corresponding posts, an update post could also be made saying which stories were added? Or each new group of additions could have their own sorting in the corresponding posts?

I don't mind at all.

Having not done an 'updating' rec list yet, I have to admit I don't exactly have a plan so far. I do plan on, at very least, mentioning which ships have had fics added to them. The ideal, of course, would be to make a post with all of the fics that made it onto the list with each new rec, so the members are aware of them.

As of now, I plan on doing my first new 'reccing' post at the beginning of the year, so hopefully I'll be able to work all the bugs out by then.
