I've BEEN to Rutland. Multiple times, back in the late 80s when I was dating a guy from there while at college and we'd go to his home for the weekend.

I am embarrassed to say that it almost caused a panic attack the first time I visited. All I could think when I got there was that I was going to somehow be trapped there. I know it's just another small city, and at that time it was somehow a city and rural and in the late 80s it was very run down, all at the same time. So I hated it. I've been to similar places in central NY that set off the same sort of pinging in my head.

Er. Yes. So there's my confession for the day. *still embarrassed*

Oh don't feel bad... I've lived here all my life and get those same feelings all the time. I was born here and fear I'll die here as well!! LOL

This town is part of the reason I escape to the internet!! Fandom keeps me sane!! <3

tuna pea wiggle is a milk based gravy with tuna and peas added that you eat over crackers or toast. My kids LOVE it!! <3

When I was 17 I was hit by a truck crossing the road. It was a huge moving truck. I got a concussion, a fractured wrist, and the bottom cartilidge in my nose broke so I had to have about 25 stitches all total. I still have a tiny scar near my nose but I was an EXTREMELY LUCKY girl!!
