- You do not have to cast a vote for every Group/Ship's Category. Vote only for those Groups/Ships and Categories that you want to!
- You do not have to vote for everything at the same time. You can vote at any time over the two months allotted. You can submit your votes in stages, too, if you want (for example: vote for Best Drabble for Snily today, vote for Best Dark Fic for Tom Riddle/Voldemort next week, vote for Best Drama-Angst for Tom Riddle/Voldemort in two weeks, vote for Best A/U in Weasleycest the day before voting closes - you get the point). Use whatever schedule you feel comfortable using. Take your time and really read over the fics in the Groups/Ships and Categories that interest you to make sure you are happy with your decision. Make sure you get your votes in before the voting closes on June 30th, though!
- Once your vote is cast, you cannot take it back. No do-overs.
- You may not vote for yourself. We are keeping track of who votes, and looking at IP addresses, so please don't cheat! If you're caught cheating, you're banned from this contest forever (we mean it!).
- Do not ask people to vote for your stories. That's lame and poor sportsmanship. Asking them in general is okay, but asking them to vote for you specifically is not.
- 1 vote = 1 point for the nominated fic. There is a First Place (greatest number of points received), a Second Place (second greatest number of points received), and a Third Place (third greatest number of points received) for each Category for each Group/Ship. In the case of a tie, both/all those fics get the same placement to share (we bump no one).
- Everyone who was nominated gets a banner and bragging rights in the end. Winners get extra special banners, though, with unique artwork (kindly donated by our generous group of contributing artists).
