Today I would like to know all about a place that you have created. There are a lot of different ways to interpret this prompt! Did you make a place for yourself in real life? Did you create a place in a story you were writing? Did you help build something?

Besides forts in my bedroom when I was 9, I've never created places for myself. But, last year, I went to Mexico with my brother's Boy Scout troop leader's church to build houses for low-income families.

I really admire what you did. How did you personally decide to get involved?

My brother went the year before, and I never have anything to do over spring break, so I decided to try it out. I loved it so much, I'm going again this year.

It's a lovely cause and I'm very, very glad you had a good time. You should get a spare camara battery before you go next time so you can have pictures of the finished house ;-)
