I had the pleasure of reading this before it posted, so you know I love this. It is creepy yet so very sad and full of raw emotion. Powerful and beautifully written <33

Powerful, haunting. I am so sorry for Draco losing his family in mere moments, only to end up destroyed by his grief for them in the end. How terrifying and awful to see your child become a mindless, soulless monster before your eyes, and to know it was caused by something that could have easily been avoided, if only you'd taken the time to really pay attention to and taken care of the small details (in this case, the tree overhanging the balcony should have been cut down with a Slicing Hex or a Bombarda, and those french doors should have been shut and boarded up).

Chilling work, dahling!

Wow, this was powerful. Carelessness, even for a moment, can lead to injury, and Draco's family certainly learned that the hard way. It's easy to say they should've known better, but cooped up in a house, when nothing had yet gone wrong... I can't say that I wouldn't have taken the same chances. Draco's grief, his near paralysis because of it, was raw and chill-inducing. Very creepy, very well done!
