This was a great fic! The description of Draco was dark and evocative and I could picture the scenes very clearly. Thank you for sharing.

Yiiiiikes! The stranger outside of Hermione's door built up such a delicious tension. I wasn't expecting it to be Draco, first of all, or for him to be pre-zombie-fied. Your description of the plague was really interesting - cracks beneath the skin, like the blood in his veins had putrefied and gone black. I like, too, how you circled it back and made Hermione the stranger at the end. I can see how it could spread so easily and so quickly that way: the kindness of others being their downfall. Creepy stuff! Well done!

Oh, and the Weasleys were written brilliantly, by the way. Percy's bit was especially in-character, haha.
