Wow, this was supremely powerful in only a few short words. My guts dropped into my shoes at the belladonna comment. It all clicked for me then. Excellent, KK. Although this had been difficult for you, you say, you did a fantastic job!

Thank you <3 I was afraid it was too short, but sometimes you get to the end and that's it, you know? And I'm glad it clicked! I'm still worried my idea didn't come through quite how I'd hoped.

OH GOD!

I loved this!

This whole fic is so permeated by Molly's exhaustion, by how much her world doesn't make sense to her anymore. It feels like she went insane through grief. The fact that Arthur (as much as I love the man) is now inside the house with everyone but Molly drugged and asleep, unable to resist totally made my skin crawl!

Wonderfully done Dearest!

Thank you! When I read the prompt I thought Molly and Arthur would be the obvious choice for a couple split by the zombie plague. And I think she went insane as well, with the family growing ever-smaller.

Thank you so much for reading <3

Freakin' yikes. Molly's desperation is so poignant and terrible here. Being connected to so many doesn't dampen the loss of one, especially if that one happens to be your husband. Molly has fallen apart. Nothing makes sense to her anymore. It's like she's hovering between worlds, not enough in either to form cohesive thought. And all it took was one mistake, one toe too far over into the world of insanity, for her to doom her family.

Wonderful and absolutely chilling. Well done!!

Being connected to so many doesn't dampen the loss of one,

I agree. I think having so many to lose makes you worry more and grieve more.

Thank you so much!
