Posting your wishlist to the community.
» You may ask for both fics and art. Het, slash, femmeslash, self and even just plain old gen are all okay. Be sure to put down any prompts, genres, etc as inspiration.

» As far as art goes, you may request drawings, icons, and wallpapers.

» NC-17-rated material is allowed, though we'd like to encourage more old-fashioned story-telling. ;) You MUST be at least eighteen years of age, and there MUST be an age statement on your profile if you request NC-17-rated material. Fics/art depicting characters under the age of eighteen in explicitly sexual situations are not allowed, due to LJ's policy.

» There is no limit to the number of items you may put on your wishlist. If you think of more wishes at a later date, please go back to your entry and edit it appropriately. If your wishlist is obscenely long, please be courteous and use an lj-cut. :)

» Tag your wishlists with the appropriate tags: "!wishlists" and "requests: art" and/or "requests: fic".

Granting wishes.
» For fics, lower word limit is 200 words. There is no upper word limit. Your fics should be original - meaning it can't be a prequel or a sequel to something you've already written. This is supposed to be a gift, make it special! :)

» For art, you don't need to make it an absolute masterpiece, but please do more than a quick doodle/scribble. It should have taken some effort.

» To give NC-17-rated material, you MUST be at least eighteen years of age, and there MUST be an age statement on your profile. Again, fics/art depicting characters under the age of eighteen in explicitly sexual situations are not allowed, due to LJ's policy. Also, your journal entry containing said material MUST be marked for adult content.

» Once you have completed the fic or art, post it to your own journal first.

» Then, reply to the recipient's wishlist with the following form:

Title:
Request/Prompt:
Rating:
Link to art/fic:

» To ensure that everyone gets a good number of wishes granted, please visit the wishlists page and review all the wishlists, and not just the recently-posted ones you see on your "friends" page. A link to the wishlists page is also provided on the navigation.

Miscellaneous.
» I'll post a masterlist of fic and art every month. :D

» No flaming; flaming will get you banned from the community. Constructive criticism is fine.

» You do not have to post a wishlist to grant others' wishes.

» If you post a wishlist, please try to grant others' wishes. There's no pressure at all to grant wishes, however, it really is a lot more fun if everyone participates equally.

I think that should be it. If you have any questions, reply to this post. Happy wishing! :)
