Yes, you can take Regulus in various directions. I think of him as the dutiful son who didn't have time to grow out of it; he can't have been more than twenty when he died, and may have been younger. In this case, I wanted a characterization to match the card, of course, so things went in that direction.

Thanks for commenting! I'm glad you liked it.

That was absolutely amazing! It's so good to meet Sirius again, even as a soul... And Regulus is agonizingly alive here, despite being a ghost. Thank you very much for such a treasure!

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it. I had a horrible time getting the story started, but once I did, it all clicked into place.

This plot was so original, and ended up being one of the more interesting ones I've read! Regulus trying to convince Harry not to be a Death Eater was amazing, lol. Nice job!

This was wonderful! Very original and clever, and such a fascinating read. And I couldn't get over how Regulus believed Harry to be a Death Eater - it was so completely ridiculous to us, reading it, but it made sense that he would be touched by Voldemort, so of course Regulus would assume that. And this flowed so well; I absolutely adored the way it ended. ♥

I realized last night that I'd never posted this on the Archive, so I checked back here and was embarrassed to find that I'd never finished responding to feedback, either. I'd just joined an RPG, and I think I lost the rest of March -- how's that for a lame excuse?

Belatedly, thank you for your comments. I had a lot of fun with Harry the supposed bastard pureblood Death Eater, and the thought process Regulus goes through helped define his character for me (and hopefully for the reader) as well as keeping that section from being too dismal.

Cheers,

Gg
