Excellent. I've always thought that the Dark Lord would have acquired some sort of blackmail material on all his Death Eaters, and, the way you wrote it, I can definitely see this happening. I also love the way you describe Severus on the train - he seems so...haunted, but somewhat oblivious to how haunted he is. Wonderful story!

Funny that you mention the train -- it was actually a scene I've had in my head for months, and no matter how many times I reformatted this story I just had to include it.

Good gods this is a lovely, evil piece of work. The pace and storytelling are wonderful and the hotness is puddleworthy. Great job.

This was wonderfully written. The way you've book-ended the fic with Severus on the train was particularly nice.

One more year, just one, and then he will be free to take his new, rightful place.
