What a perfect last line! I'm grinning, too!

Harry/Hermione wasn't ever a pairing I really thought about much after book 3 or so, but I never really was convinced by Ginny in the books at all. It's very believable that if forced to admit who he trusted more, Ginny or Hermione, the answer would be Hermione.

And what a great interpretation for the card, as well! :-)

I don't know why but this struck me the moment I read the interpretation of the card. The concept somehow managed to match every interpretation of the card I found. Guess it worked ;)

Harry was always clueless when it came to girls, so thought I'd use that to my advantage for this card ;)

That was a lovely story, and a lovely fit for the card interpretation. It reminds me of the earliest fics I read in fandom. I started out reading Harry/Hermione. This was so nicely paced too, and that last line is just wonderful.
