that was lovely! I really like how you pulled in bits from the book/movies and worked them into something more. Especially loved the way you showed the two different forms of scars/trauma that both Lavender and Harry are surviving - moving past. Gorgeous read!

Thank you. I really have to thank DH Pt 2 (movie). After seeing the movie and Lavender's scene in particular it got me thinking. Glad you enjoyed it.

I'm a sucker for fic which deals with the aftermath of war in a way that isn't all sunshine and roses. This was a lovely way to do that. Lavender isn't often a character I think about, but she is a wonderful fit for the interpretation here. Very nicely done.

Thanks. I was a little worried how it would come off as this is a bit darker then I tend to get with my writing.

I had forgotten about Lavender being attacked in the book until someone mentioned it when we went to see the film, and I was intrigued wondering what might happen to her. This is lovely! I love the sense the story brings of pieces of herself starting to re-emerge, and also the unspoken sense that Harry is using time to heal, too, and more time is needed for both of them.
