Much love for the Cosby reference... and of course the not-so-thinly veiled jab at DH here: Dementor kissed, the clean end of Avada Kedavra. even a ragged, hard-fought duel to the bitter end seemed more fitting than what she saw here....

I love how that gives a whole backstory on what George has been up to since...well, since. Continued up to no good, but maybe in a more self-destructive way, yeah? For some reason I'm fixated on it being a Drunk and Disorderly charge.

You know what that line is? That's Luna channelling Dumbledore. "Of course it is happening in your head, but why should that mean that it is not real?" Now I'm imagining Luna as Headmistress of Hogwarts. It's not silly at all.

You know... I actually CAN see Luna becoming headmistress, now you mention it. She's got just the sort of brilliant insight that would let her hire great, reliable teachers, and to know what she needed to do to keep them on. So long as she didn't attempt to teach herself, it would all be just fine.

Snape vs Hrududu... I have to confess it, when I was writing that paragraph, I had a phrase from Moggy the Cat going through my head... "Old Moggy the cat, I still wonder why/ You roadkill look so damned surprised when you die. / Did you think that some animal spirit survives?/ Did you really believe that you cats had nine lives?"
