Oooh, excellent! I always love Merope fic, and I love your Tom Sr. characterization here. He's so cold and insufferable and yet at least a little sympathetic because of the way he was deceived.

This is so fantastic. Excellent characterization on Tom Sr. -- you can definitely tell where Tom derives some of his nastier characteristics!

Thanks. I'd guess he got a few of his crazier characteristics from his mother, but the sheer nastiness from his father.

Very interesting! Riddle Sr. is a character we don't really hear from very often, and you gave him such a strong, passionately bitter voice, one so fitting for his character. Wonderful work!

Thank you. I'm surprised how little we hear from Tom, Sr, actually--a handsome, arrogant guy who ends up the father of the heir of Slytherin... you'd think there'd be more!
