Excellent work! It gave me shivers, and was true to the meaning of the tarot card. More importantly, I could see something like this happening in canon... even the slashy tones. I think forgiveness/ understanding, a form of the highest love, will be key in defeating Voldemort. Dreams and visions are often mixed up a bit, and highly symbolic... so I really would like to see Draco and Harry work together. Compassion seems to be one of Harry's strong points, and something that Dumbledore tried to cultivate with the Pensieve lessons.

The skin where he reached out to touch it was softer than Harry expected, considering the roughness of the personality behind it.

Such a beautiful line. Lovely fic! Thank you for writing it.

Ooo...great ending. You conveyed the dream-like quality very well.
I think you have a couple of typos:
'If Malfoy noticed the hint of thread behind it he didn't say' - that should be threat
'or that anyone could have twisted a view of love in the first place.' - there should be 'that' or 'such a' or 'as' or something in there between 'have' and 'twisted'

Very very nice. Your interpretation of this card was great and so not what I expected (but that only made it better). Excellent story!
