Oh, lovely. I really like the way you've fleshed out Arabella's life and thoughts here. And the glimpses we see of the tragedy in Luna's life are very touching.

Lovely - it's very clever the way you have this story switching from real sadness to crazy funniness. Poor Harry's cameo was clever (having such an awful time, and he still remembers to say "Sorry about your cat"!) - and the idea of the Zombie!cat rising again was a little gem.

This is beautiful! Luna is perfect - always a little out of place, until you look deeper and see that she actually does have it just right. I thought you brought a great deal to Mrs Figg - I liked the snippets of background you gave her; it helped flesh her out nicely. And Harry's cameo was lovely. It fits what we know of him - annoyed at having to be at Mrs Figg's, but still unfailingly well-mannered.

Oh wow. I read this yesterday and didn't comment on it. This was wonderfully well written, and I enjoyed the idea that Mrs. Figg would take care of Luna as well as Harry.

Luna's little quirks that turn out to be hard truths are always nice as well.
