I liked this a lot. Thank you.

You don't write the dates at the top of your entries, so I can't follow them very well. It steals away from the sense of progression that a journal tends to lend to the reader, and 'today's 'yesterday's and 'tomorrow's are left hanging in a space without reference. Has everyday life become so indistinguishable that without numbers and months it takes on the appearance of a softened block of butter? How disappointing. This was my favorite bit. A wonderful turn of phrase indeed! What a wonderful image.

To answer your question: I thought of Draco as well. But I ship H/D as my OTP, so my perception might be biased. *g* It was the remembered dialogue and what they left unsaid that convinced me it had to be Draco. :-)

Ahaha, that seems to be the vote on my piece. ^^ Perhaps a little backstory would have clarified it on my part - I was kind of working off of my conception of the war, though DH completely shot that out the window. ^^;; There wasn't supposed to be a romantic relationship implied. >>;;
