Regulus shot him a look. "You are such a bloody Gryffindor, it's embarrassing."
I love this. It's - bittersweet, and lovely, and the best story I've read about Sirius's last summer with his family thus far. Believable, and beautiful. Thank you.

This was so much more than I asked for! Sirius and Regulus... the way you portrayed them is absolutely unbeatable. They have that Black edge to them. Absolutely fabulous characterization for everyone, really.
Regulus opened his mouth to protest this sweeping generalisation, but thought better of it. "Getting sentimental in your old age? All right then, I - Sirius, I'm going to have to kill you after this - I suppose I love you too. I still maintain you're an idiot, however."
Love that bit. Actually, that scene was my favorite! Thank you so very much.
