I love missing moments like these, and the little pieces add up to a whole better than a single story would, I think. And I especially love the last line: "What will you do?"

i love the glimpses you've given us of all the "behind the scenes action" - i can't pick a favorite... you did such a wonderful job! i also really liked the ending, gave me chills. (and makes me wonder what we'll see from scrimgeour in book 7)

This is fabulous. Powerful and sad, yet it captures the resolve of all the characters and seems very much like what we didn't see that night. Kudos.

This is a really fantastic piece. Though I'm not a huge fan of her, you really brought me into McGonagall well. No one writes about the adults that night- what an interesting play of emotions all around.
And "that rapscallion Weasley".. haha
