About You
Describe your personality: I'm a very compassionate person and I try to be as supportive as I can -- I'd do anything for my family and friends. They mean the world to me! I'm a bit withdrawn in the sense that it can be really hard for me to open up about my feelings and I tend to bottle them up inside. I also don't like confrontations, and if someone does something I disagree with I tend to just let it go. I think I'm pretty independent - at least for a student who doesn't have a full-time job (meaning I still rely on my parents for some things). It can be a bad thing because I don't often ask for help, even if I need it, but I don't like relying on others. They've usually let me down, so I don't do that anymore. I like to have fun and goof around, but I can also be serious. I am pretty idealistic and I like to dream a lot about what my life COULD be like, but I also think that I'm grounded and I know what the reality of my situation is. I could make my dreams come true, but it is going to take a lot of hard work and I know that, and I'm not afraid of that. I'm very laid-back and I don't get upset or offended easily - it really takes a LOT to make me mad. Also, I just think that I'm a nice person. I'm a bit shy when it comes to meeting people for the first time, but I'm very friendly and polite.
My Meyers-Briggs personality type is INFP (introverted, intuitive, feeling, perceiving) and my iPersonic type is the Dreamy Idealist. :)
Positive qualities: Sweet, compassionate, friendly, fiercely loyal, independent
Negative qualities: A bit shy and withdrawn (shy around strangers and slightly withdrawn with my feelings, usually when I'm sad), a procrastinator, indecisive, sarcastic
Neutral qualities: I'm bad at these, but I'm introverted, idealistic, feminine, and slightly romantic.
Likes: Reading (I have more books than I have room on my bookshelves, and I love it that way), watching movies, being with my friends, drinking coffee, my dog, flowers, stars, rain, baking and baked goods, writing, music, theater, Disney, Harry Potter, Audrey Hepburn, shoes, things that are pink!
Dislikes/Pet Peeves: Oranges, beets, ticks, deep water, smoking, arrogance, rudeness, people who complain about things but don't bother to do anything to change it, gum-chewing and other loud, obnoxious chewing sounds, sounds people make when they sleep.
Strengths: My compassion, loyalty, and intelligence.
Weaknesses: I can really doubt myself sometimes, and I procrastinate a lot. :\
This or That
Optimistic or Pessimistic: Optimistic, but I do have my pessimistic tendencies.
Realistic or Idealistic: Idealistic, but I also think I have a good sense of reality.
Introverted or Extroverted: Introverted. I love hanging out with my friends and meeting new people, but I also need my alone time.
Brave or Safe: Brave, but not reckless.
Selfish or Selfless: I try to be mostly selfless, but I also don't think anyone is completely selfless. We're all at least a little bit selfish - we have to be.
Stoic or Emotional: Emotional, defintely.
Trusting or Cynical: Trusting but not overly so, it takes me a while to really be able to trust someone.
Brains or Brawn: Brains
Impulsive or Cautious: Mostly cautious, but I can be impulsive, especially when shopping!
Pacifist or Temperamental: Pacifist!
Spells
What's your favorite spell (of any kind) and why? Well, I really don't want to sway votes by mentioning any that are options, so I'm going to say Accio! I think it's a really useful spell and I can't tell you how many times I've wanted to use that spell when I was searching for something I couldn't find, or wanting something and just didn't want to get up to get it.
How do you feel about the Unforgivable Curses? Do you think that using them can be justified? I can't see any circumstance in which they could be justifiable, especially Crucio or Avada Kedavra. I can see where Imperio might be useful - like if someone was about to do something dangerous and you had no other choice than to use that curse and save them, but I don't like any of them and don't think they should be used.
If you were battling someone, would you be more likely to cause them serious harm or just try to do the minimum amount of damage in order to protect yourself? I would just do what I had to to protect myself, and not try to do much damage, but I doubt I would stop and consider which spells would be the most or least harmful either.
Pretend you were in Harry's position right after Bellatrix killed Sirius. You have the opportunity to torture her or even kill her. What do you do? I'd be mad, but I don't think I could bring myself to torture or kill her. I'd just want her to go back to Azkaban and rot for eternity, haha.
Which of the options do you think you would be least likely to ever use? Any of the Unforgiveable Curses or Sectumsempra.
Check any that appeal/apply to you:
[X] Protection

[ ] Death
[X] Life
