How do you feel about the Unforgivable Curses? Do you think that using them can be justified? No, I would never use them nor do I think using them is justified.
If you were battling someone, would you be more likely to cause them serious harm or just try to do the minimum amount of damage in order to protect yourself? Minimum amount of damage, probably.
Pretend you were in Harry's position right after Bellatrix killed Sirius. You have the opportunity to torture her or even kill her. What do you do? I wouldn't do either, I'd try to think of a spell that could stop her without harming her. I'd want her to go to Azkaban for what she did, not kill her.
Which of the options do you think you would be least likely to ever use? Avada Kedavra and all the other unforgivables :/
