I like the way you wrote this, using the journal entries to show us the development of the relationship with Severus as well as how alone Ron is - how harsh the war was. Nicely done.

Thank you :) I always think it's more realistic that people who survives a war and whatnot . . . will have some difficulties getting over things. It's always fun to explore the what ifs! ^^

Thank you for writing this for me. I love the reality you presented as well as the slow, yet sudden development of their relationship. It made everything between them even more palpable.

I am pleased you liked this! I was so worried you wouldn't because I was actually stumped on trying to come up with a non-cliche plot XD. And worried on whether you will like the first person POV. I know some people don't enjoy it ^^;;

And it's all coincidences that I used your favourite Maugham quote and the whole "time doesn't heal pain" thing LOL.
