what time tomorrow morning? because i need to go back to pasadena to get my car serviced... maybe i can meet you at the grove, give you a ride home, etc.? :)
Sounds like your power supply is may be failing... if the connector is hot to the touch, make sure you mention it. It's a known issue and they may give you a new one, especially if you go armed with the info from this article.
About the cracks, they might ask you if you've dropped the macbook, no matter what you do, don't hesitate in saying flat out no.
As for the charging of your battery, if you have not done so already, you need to let the battery have a reset cycle, meaning, use it without the charger for the whole day and let it run to 0. Then charge it back up. Doing this will re-condition the Macbook's battery.
Well, the thing still charges, except for the weirdness of the charger and the battery this morning. The light just occasionally decides to turn off. But, yeah, if it's failing, a replacement would be dandy. I have no noticed the connector being hot, but then again, I don't usually test it for such things. I will do so and make note.
Also, I have never dropped the laptop, so I'd never hestitate to say no :)
I'll do the battery thing this evening. I know how best to suck up the power within the span of a few hours >)
And I'll try out iKlear on it. I wasn't aware you could use iKlear on the palm rest area. I thought it was for the screen only, but if that's one of their suggestions, I'll see this evening.
So, I'd like to stick to eating somewhere local in Pasadena, and I am personally rather fond of The Elements Kitchen, if you'd like to try it? Check out their menu and let me know? Or we could go to a Pasadnea Staple (the Cheesecake Factory).
Anything else you wanna do? See a movie? I don't know what's out that's good.
