It's a pretty big prince drop, pretty soon, but you KNOW if you buy a new piece of gadgetry the day it comes out in a swirl of hype that you will be able to get it at Christmas/in a year/etc, much cheaper. So really, they shouldn't be surprised. But then, these were people who were all MUST HAVE NOW with the iPhone, so I don't know how their minds work. (Personally, I have verizon and have no need for a new cell right now, so I didn't buy one. Plus, I got my current phone for free after a bunch of discounts and rebates.)
