I've got a doctor's appointment on Monday that I just found out about last night. Checked my yahoo mail, and sure enough, there was an email from my dad's secretary, Agnes. She said she'd checked with my mother to see if the appointment time was all right, and my mother said yes ( Read more... )

She called mom and then said she'd e-mail me. I do NOT know why she didn't call me since she KNOWS my cell number. *dramatic sigh*

Personally, I would call Agnes FIRST and tell her XYZ, then tell your Mom that thanks for trying to help out, but in the future, she should refer Agnes to you.

Period.

It's bad form on both their parts, and the sad thing is, it's all probably on your Dad's order.

Dad: Agnes, please make an appointment for Cathrine, and check with her mother to see that she's available.

Agnes: Yes, sir!

Agnes and Mom: *Do what they normally do*

That's basically it. Eh. I'm not overly chuffed, but the fact is that... my mother already knows better and she was just being lazy -_- If I hadn't triggered her memory into it last night, I probably wouldn't have noticed until Saturday or something ( ... )

Oh I didn't think you were mad at him, nor did I think that you should be mad at him, ya know? It's just, like you said, people being lazy.

I like the observation you made there at the end about your Mom.. though, I don't think that if she tells Agnes not to share the details, that they won't move on beyond here, after all it's the sistership of women we're talking about, no?

dude, sistership of women does not trump agnes's paycheck... know what i'm sayin?

does agnes need to be involved in this process at all? i mean... not to go crazy with the crazy talk, but if there's a way for a certain someone to make her own appts.... maybe that would work out better? :)
