Harry shifted, blinking away the half-doze he'd been in since he'd arrived. His right arm ached like hell, and when he tried to move it he found it immobilised against his chest by a sling. Oops.

"Ginny?" he mumbled, surprised when his voice came out quite clearly. Half the time he spent so long asleep while in hospital that he was all croaky when he woke up.

"Hi there, hero," she said, giving him a grin, glad that he was awake, however slightly it was. "Couldn't have waited a bit before getting hurt again?"

"Mmm," he groaned. A vague memory rose up of glaring at Hestia until she agreed to send Ginny an owl. "My bad."

"I hope to Merlin not," she replied. "I've not seen anything in the Prophet yet. But these days everyone regards it as a rubbish."

"Since they assume it of us. Hence our need for correction." He scratched harder at the sling, annoyed.

Ginny regarded him for a moment and moved his hand away from the sling. She shifted it a bit, trying to give him better access to scratch.

"Do you want me to stay for a while?" she asked, sitting back in the chair.
