So curious about Snape. The whole politics of blood is a bit obscure to me still; if there are so few purebloods left--and thus most witches and wizards are half-bloods--is the real distinction between pure/half-bloods and the Muggle-born? But clearly there are enough pureboods to form an aristocracy of sorts, and thus the claim to be half-blood strikes me as...well, rather modest. Perhaps I'm wrong.

i've always been confused as to how the weasley's have remained purebloods through and through, or apparent purebloods, as well as the potters. they would have to be inbred families then as well. and related to the malfoys somehow.

i feel that it isn't the distinction between purebloods and the rest. it is the distinction between those who side with the purebloods, and those who side with the muggles/muggle-borns. the half-bloods are essentially the determining force.

anyway, SATURDAYYYYYY. (hey that rhymed)
